Notes & Structure

Here are the official notes and how the scent tends to evolve:

Stage Notes What You’ll Smell / Feel
Top (Opening) Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Black Currant  A fresh, bright intro: citrus from bergamot, sweet‑floral orange blossom, with a hint of juicy fruitiness from black currant. It’s vibrant and clean.
Heart / Middle Tuberose, Jasmine, Marigold (Tagetes)  The floral bouquet emerges: tuberose gives a creamy, bold white floral; jasmine adds brightness; marigold/tagetes may bring a slightly green / golden floral undertone.
Base / Dry‑down Vanilla, White Musk, Cedarwood, Patchouli  Warmth and comfort: vanilla softens things; white musk gives a smooth finish; cedarwood + patchouli add depth and woodiness to balance out the florals.

Scent Character & Vibe

  • Overall Style: Emaan is very much in the white floral domain — bold florals, sweet fruit notes, but with a warm & woody base to anchor things. It leans more elegant and polished than raw or smoky.

  • Mood / Feel: Feminine, “floral glamour.” It has freshness, sophistication, some sweetness, and a creamy warmth. It’s not intended to be aggressively loud (though the florals are quite prominent), but it does project.

  • When & Where It Works Best:

    • Spring / Summer: the citrus + florals make it suitable for warmer weather.

    • Daytime events, outings, or anytime you want a floral, elegant fragrance.

    • Also evening wear possible, especially when you want something that’s floral but still has enough body (vanilla‐musk) to feel more plush.

Strengths & Potential Drawbacks

Strengths:

  • Nice layering: the transition from citrusy floral into creamy, sweeter woods & vanilla is generally smooth.

  • Great value: many reviews say it gives much of what more expensive white floral perfumes do, but at a more affordable price.

  • The white floral heart (tuberose + jasmine) is strong and satisfying for lovers of that fragrance family.

  • Decent longevity and good performance, especially on clothes.

Things Some People Might Not Like / Be Aware Of:

  • The florals are quite dominant; if you dislike bold tuberose or heavy white florals, this may feel a bit much.

  • Sweetness: the base’s vanilla + musk can make it sweeter, which in very hot weather could lean heavy or cloying.

  • Peel‑off projection: some people find the opening very bright / sharp, especially the citrus & black currant. It may settle down, but the first few minutes are noticeable.
